So many big issues can seem out of our control, but one California man took matters into his own hands when he found out a rare, local butterfly species was in danger of extension. After some research, Tim Wong found that the butterfly's main dietary plant was also becoming rare, and so he began growing it in his own backyard. The butterflies soon followed.
