Eating some Mrs. Renfro's Habanero Salsa - it's spicy as hell - and wondering if people are ready for spicy food in this country? I think it might increase social connectivity by allowing people to enjoy spicy foods from other cultures.
I like this idea - and it could be a cool way to increase people relating to one another. You do have some attention to spice in southern bbq and creole food (although in the former 'sweet' is often favored, and 'spice' is like a challenge). It needs to be seem as something that is in combination with other flavors for overall richness - not just a shock.
